Daniel was born into a Film Family.
His father started a production company from scratch in Richmond, VA when Daniel was a young child. Daniel grew up on Television Commercial sets and was inspired to play with editing software and videotape machines as a teenager. His first job in the field was at a Film Laboratory where he was quickly promoted to Head Processor. From there he launched himself to New York City where he worked at Technicolor NY in the West Village as an Imaging Supervisor, supporting the Digital Intermediate Workflow. Next he jumped to MPC (Moving Picture Company) where he was mentored by some of the most talented Colorists in the world.
